Computer Science and Engineering Department
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is known for cutting edge research and for imparting state of the art education in the area of Computations and Programming. We aim at producing some of the brightest students. The faculty is extremely laborious and provide hands on experience in cutting-edge technologies.

Electronics and Communications Engineering Department
The department of ECE has been playing a vital role in producing excellent engineers and technologists. The department runs graduate B.Tech. Programme. Subjects like Integrated electronics and circuits, Tele-communications, Computer technology, Control & Automation, Power systems & Power electronics, Digital Signals Processsing make them expert in the field. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students to learn and innovate. The department has distinguished faculty from renowned institutes of this region.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department
The EE department has been active in teaching and research since its inception. Faculty members are taking up subjects like Communication and Signal Processing, Control and Computing, Power Electronics and Power Systems, Microelectronics and VLSI design, and Electronic Systems. The department offers BTech programme with intake of 120* students. The department is equipped with the latest experimental and computational facilities.

Information Technology Department
The Information Technology department offers a graduate BTech programme. The department is capable of producing best of the students by grooming them in the area of basic know-how of using the Computers, generating basic to high end programs and discussing database technologies along with high emphasis on Software Engineering approach. It is equipped with the latest computational facilities with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus.

Mechanical Engineering Department
The Department offers graduate BTech programme. The department is headed by Mr. A. N. Mehreja, who has good corporate experience, the department is providing excellent education to the budding graduates. With the use of all the ultra-modern machines and software, the department is fully equipped and has ample manpower to cater the needs in all respects.

» 07.5.2011 RAGGING
Affidavits to be submitted by all Students after taking the Admission. All students and their parents/guardians are to submit affidavits regarding non-indulgence in RAGGING of any kind. The details can be had from the college office.

» 07.5.2011 ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEES
Ragging is a CRIME as per the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The college and the management is very strict in handling the cases of Ragging. Anti-Ragging Committees has been formed to curb this social evil.

» 24.6.2011 ADMISSION OPEN IN MANAGEMENT SEAT
25% of the total intake in each stream is reserved for the Management/NRI Seats. The admission in the Management and NRI Quota is OPEN. The aspirants can fill the Registration Form of BTech Programme of NCIT along with their choices of the streams in order of preference. This will be used in allocation of the seats to the candidates who will apply for such seats

» 23.5.2011 NATIONAL WORKSHOP ORGANIZED SUCCESSFULLY
The college organized National Workshop on "Recent Trends in Communication Engg. and Network Security" on 21st May, 2011. In this Workshop 500 delegates participated from the nearby states particularly from Punjab, Haryana, NCR-Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir etc. The Speakers from NIT, Kurukshetra, Panjab Engineering College, Chandigarh etc shared their experience in Communication and Security of Networks with the participants. Organizers included Ms Mani Arora, Mr Naresh, Ms Mandeep Kaur, Mr Lalit, Ms Ursula and Mr Parveen .
