Eligibility and Procedure

1. Minimum Academic Qualification for B.E./B.Tech. is 50% marks in the aggregate of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)in 10+2examination of a recognized board/university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
   
   
   1. Chemistry
   2. Bio-Technology
   3. Computer Science
   4. Biology
   
   OR
   
   The candidate should have passed diploma course of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent diploma examination, or B.Sc. examination of 3 years degree course of any recognized university.
2. Fulfilling of eligibility for B.E./B.Tech. w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying exam. shall be proved by the candidate not at the time of seat allotment but one week prior to the final cut-off date for admissions.
3. Admission in B.Tech. is based on the rank obtained by the candidates in qualifying examination such as AIEEE or other competitive entrance examinations.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Admission brochure containing registration form is available at the sale counters of all the institutes offering B.E./B.Tech. program and can also be downloaded from the website http://techeduhry.nic.in
   
   
2. Haryana residents are also entitled for admission against All India Category seats.
3. 75% of the total number of sanctioned seats will be filled according to the first online counseling conducted by NIC (National Informatics Centre),then by second counseling, and if needed, third counseling, and the rest of the 25% seats will be filled by concerned college/institute including 15% NRI seats.
4. Three counseling’s will be conducted for admission to AICTE approved B.E./B.Tech. Courses for 75% seats only as follows:
   1st Counseling By the NIC for 75% of the sanctioned intake with 20% more
   Admissions to prevent sliding for general and reserved categories.
   
   2nd Counseling By the NIC general and reserved category candidates, after inter-conversion of reserved category seats without 20% more seats.
   3rd Counseling By NIC or physical counseling required, if any.
5. The candidate is to get herself registered for the first counseling by depositing Rs 500/- only as fee for Counseling Participation in the account of Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS) in any of the CBS branches of PNB.
6. Candidates will be allowed to generate/print the provisional sheet allotment letter from the website.
7. After the result of the first counseling the candidate is required to deposit Token admission fee of Rs20, 000/-[Rs 10,000 only for SC candidates(only once)] in the account of HSCS.
8. The candidate will be required to submit three sets of copies of testimonials/certificates (not original) duly attested by a gazetted officer/head master/principal of the school last attended to the designated institute along with the proof of having deposited Rs500/- as counseling participation fee and proof of having deposited the amount of Token admission fee in the account of HSCS.
