Message from the Chairman

I have the pleasure and honour to write the Chairman’s column in this report for the  N.C.Institute Of Technology Israna.

Our Institutions have always stood for professionalism with a     firm  commitment to the cause of education and a superlative stress on ethical values. We are in the process of writing a new chapter on the success stories of the NC - SD group of colleges in the domain of science, education, management, engineering and technology. It is a renowned group having a strong foot-hold for imparting technical education in different parts of Northern India.

In memory of Late Lala Nemi Chand ji, we have always been trying to accomplish something new and
innovative. Realising the ever increasing of technical personnel and our responsibility towards the cause of
a congenial education system in this region, we have come up this time with the idea of setting up an institute to educate & train and technocrats in engineering stream by opening the engineering college , christened as " N.C.Institute Of Technology Israna”.

We always strive to achieve the best standards of education in our educational institutions by following ISO-9001:2000 Quality Standards. This Engineering college has surely follow suit. We are determined to provide the best level of quality education and all-round development of students in this college too. A selected team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members has been drawn from renowned organizations like IITs, CSIR, DRDO, industrial houses and Universities of repute in the country. The sole aim is to impart knowledge and produce technical manpower of global competence who will be well prepared to lead the country in diversified areas of engineering, science and technology in the near  future and will bring forward a high sense of awareness and opportunities for higher education.

We wish  to develop fully civilized human beings simultaneously by inculcating in them   social, emotional, psychological, and mythological values so as to facilitate them to acquire perfection and face the world cheerfully.  Appropriate provisions for in-house structure to provide  training and education in additional courses such as certification in foreign languages, communication skills, personality development, articulation and certified computer language courses shall be made during the period of B. Tech course, besides regular curriculum and  courses.

We visualise a broad system with multi-channel objectives of achieving competitiveness on quality parameters by introducing various newer techniques and educational methods like smart class rooms, interactive education system, intensive use of e-sources for knowledge gain and dissemination of information for effective use in tutorials and seminars.

A wi-fi campus with a provision of laptops to all students, supplemented by air-conditioned  Laboratories shall definitely be a step forward in this direction.
With a fabulous increase in on-campus placements record for all colleges of NC-SD group, we are sure that the students of women college too, will end up in lucrative jobs in industrial houses, Institutions and Universities in India and abroad and will rise to  the supreme heights in their career.

It can be described  as the emergence of a college of excellence, equipped  with all basic and modern  infrastructure facilities at par with  the best engineering institutions in the country.

Message from the Principal's Desk

NCIT is the youngest member of the thirteen year old NC family (NC Group of Institutions) as it was established in 2008. Though young, NCIT has grown up by leaps and bounds. In the academic years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, there were six of the top ten rank holders of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and many college toppers. The same and even better is expected in the current academic year 2010-2011. 

In Extra Academic Activities, our students have won laurels for our institute in the inter college competitions of the various prestigious technical institutions like NIT, Kurukshetra; IIT, Roorkee; TITS, Bhiwani; and others. Our community service activities make the existence of a technical institution in a rural area highly justified.

Our teachers are not only experienced and qualified but also extremely good at team work. Our various committees reflect the team spirit and culture of our institute.

The dominance of women – teachers and students – speaks volumes about our endeavor to empower women in every way.

Our constantly revised and student-sensitive Mentoring system does wonders to the psyche of the students.

Our students would definitely get jobs in great companies like Infosys Technologies; Wipro Technologies; Microsoft and so on due to the NC brand name.
